# Next Steps for FastEarnAds MySQL Setup

## Congratulations!

You've successfully prepared your FastEarnAds application for MySQL database migration. Now you need to complete the setup by actually installing and configuring MySQL.

## What You Need to Do Now

### Step 1: Install MySQL (If Not Already Installed)

If you don't have MySQL installed:
1. Download and install XAMPP (recommended for beginners):
   - Go to https://www.apachefriends.org/index.html
   - Download XAMPP for Windows
   - Install it with default settings
   - Start XAMPP Control Panel
   - Start both Apache and MySQL services

1. Download MySQL Installer from https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/installer/
2. Install MySQL Server with default settings
3. Set root password or leave it blank for default setup

### Step 2: Start MySQL Service

Double-click on `start_mysql.bat` in this folder to start the MySQL service automatically.

If that doesn't work:
1. Press Win+R, type `services.msc`, press Enter
2. Find MySQL service and start it

### Step 3: Create and Import Database

Double-click on `import_database.bat` in this folder to automatically:
1. Create the `fastearnads` database
2. Import all table structures
3. Test the connection

### Step 4: Test Your Setup

Run this command in Command Prompt:
```
php test_db_connection.php
```

You should see a success message.

### Step 5: Use Your Application

Open your web browser and access your FastEarnAds application. All data will now be stored in MySQL instead of JSON files.

## Files You Can Now Delete (Optional)

After confirming everything works:
- All JSON files in the `data` folder (they're no longer used)
- Old `database.php` file (replaced by `database_mysql.php`)

2. Check that MySQL service is running
